New Hampshire has many beautiful lakes and Mud Pond is one of them. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a place to stay Pilgrim Inn and Cottages is a magnificent choice, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Branch Brook. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Campton is a nice place to spend a night or two; Blake Mountain can be seen from Mud Pond. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The White

| | Mountains is peerless! An afternoon playing golf at Owl's Nest Golf Club is always a joy, and Branch Brook Fourseason Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. Mud Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Loon Mountain has splendid slopes and a friendly staff, and the Peaked Hill Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. Now, you may assume that's | |

lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Peaked Hill Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit; why not explore Mirror Lake Dam while you're here. Woodstock KOA is a good local campground, and
hey, Bagley Brook is a good local stream. A lake close by is Heath Pond; there's whitewater on Pemigewasset River for all you adrenaline people. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do close to Mud Pond. Take a hike on the Glover
Brook Trail. Mud Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. For the period of the long summer days here at Mud Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold
days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Mud Pond all through the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Tenney Mountain; why not take a refreshing hike along the Hubbard Brook Trail.
