This lake is so wonderful. Near Mud Pond you find the Peaked Hill Pond Trail which is a good hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Pemigewasset River. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Branch Brook Fourseason       Campground is a nice campground nearby; after a long day outdoors Days Inn Campton is a great site to spend a night or two. Go for a hike on the Glover Brook Trail, and skiing at Loon Mountain is one of those things you just must do. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Dry warm beds await you at Pilgrim Inn and Cottages, and Mirror Lake Dam is a place that is near Mud Pond. This place, Mud Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining                  stuff. The panorama of picturesque Blake Mountain near Mud Pond is nice. So many cool things to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. Peaked Hill Pond is a brilliant lake in the neighborhood of Mud Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Branch Brook offers some wonderful whitewater. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Mud Pond get into the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Pond are in the 0's. Visit Bagley Brook since you're here at Mud Pond; lakes are such serene places, why not have a look at Heath Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Owl's Nest Golf Club is a delightful golf course close by, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Tenney Mountain since you're here. Yeah, come here to Mud Pond for a wonderful time.
