The annual rainfall here at Mud Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. Gotta ski! Whaleback is a nice spot to do that, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. Mud Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Baker River Campground is a brilliant local campground; hiking along

| | the Clark Trail is glorious fun. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Mud Pond is located in the White Mountains. This is a wonderful region for folks who like lakes. Whitney Pond is a lake close by, and everybody close by loves skiing at Ragged Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Pond is right by the West Ridge Trail. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Crescent Campsites is a splendid place | |

for that. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Mowglis Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; hey, Halfmoon Pond Brook is a splendid local stream. The warmest time of the year brings highs
in the 80's to Mud Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Mud Pond. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again.
Dry warm beds await you at The Trumbull House Bed And Breakfast, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fowler River. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going;
Mud Pond has it all. You don’t have to go far from Mud Pond to distinguish the water at Kilton Pond Dam. Lakes are magnificent; Three Thousand Acre Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Mud Pond. That right there is a lot of
enjoyable things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Smith River, and the view of Rollins Hill is beautiful.
