At Mud Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Mud Pond. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Mud Pond, too tremendous to be true. Near Mud Pond you find the Carroll Trail which is a great hiking trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always       stop at close by Little Cherry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The friendly folks of Berlin like to hang out close by, and glide down the rapids of Ammonoosuc River in a kayak. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Townhomes At Bretton Woods is a magnificent place to get some rest, and one of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Mud Pond is Bray Hill. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the                  amusing things in the White Mountains. The Black Brook Trail is a great hiking trail near Mud Pond, and get wet paddling on Israel River. That right there is a lot of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Cannon Mountain has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and a glorious site to camp here at Mud Pond is Lantern Motor Inn And Campground. Yeah, come here to Mud Pond for a wonderful time. Really great skiing awaits you at Bretton Woods, and not far from Mud Pond you'll find Cherry Pond which is a pretty lake. Going for a hike on the Baby Twin Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and golf can be played at Waumbek Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Lodge At Bretton Woods is a magnificent choice; Mud Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Israel River Campground is a wonderful local campground.
