Mountain Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Throughout the warm months at Mountain Pond highs are commonly in the 70's, and the night is a little chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Mountain Pond tend to be in the 0's. Be careful coming to the White

| | Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. There are good places to explore along the Sable Mountain Trail, and Ellis River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Shaw is uncomplicated to spot from Mountain Pond, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saco River - East Branch. Mountain Pond is a pretty wet place regularly with a lot of precipitation; | |

the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that snows the most; the driest of the months is February. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Mountain Pond. The snow is wonderful at Black Mountain,
and Eagle Mountain House is a splendid place to get some rest.
After a long day outdoors Country Inns In the White Mtns is a great place to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Basin Pond Campground if you're here at Mountain
Pond. That right there is heaps of entertaining things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. A day on the slopes of Cranmore Mountain is just what you need, and nearby you come across the Mountain Shaw Trail which
is a brilliant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
A fine site to camp here at Mountain Pond is Basin Campground and Picnic Area, and going for a hike on the Mountain Pond Trail is always a nice adventure.
