If you come at the right time of year, Pemigewasset River offers some great whitewater, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the The Wall Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites TILTON is a great site to get some rest, and Mountain Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Cogwood Acres Campground is a tremendous local campground. Mountain Pond gets a common amount       of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Gotta ski! Tenney Mountain is a good place to do that; at Mountain Pond you can catch a glimpse of Burleigh Mountain. Enjoy a round of golf at Den Brae Golf Course not far from Mountain Pond. There's so much to do here at Mountain Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Davidson's Countryside Campground is a fine site for that. Mountain Pond is one of the                  lakes here in the White Mountains. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the White Mountains. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Winnipesaukee River, and going for a hike on the Prospect Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Spectacle Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Cascade Trail. Through the warm months highs here at Mountain Pond get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mountain Pond plunge into the 0's. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The White Mountains rocks! Very pretty scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Ragged Mountain. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Mountain Pond rocks! If you get bored of Mountain Pond, you could also explore close by Mountain Pond, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Concord.
