Morrill       Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Head up to Pats Peak and strap some skis to your feet; lots of people from Concord come here. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Winnipesaukee River offers some splendid whitewater, and Fifield Farm Pond Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Merrimack                  River; you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Onemile Trail. So much enjoyable stuff right next door to Morrill Pond, clearly fantastic. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites TILTON; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Gunstock, and from Morrill Pond you obtain a nice panorama of Cogswell Hill. All through the warm months at Morrill Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Morrill Pond drop into the 0's. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are in fact plentiful here at Morrill Pond. Near Morrill Pond you hit upon a golf course called Canterbury Woods Country Club.
