An afternoon playing golf at Angus Lea Golf Course is always a joy; there's brilliant hiking along the Wapack Trail. During the summertime months here at Morrill Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime       at Morrill Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. Contoocook River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby; the Old Country Road offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Rock' N Birch Campground if you're here at Morrill Pond, and a splendid close by hotel is Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge. Lakes are good; Mud Pond is a lake that's near Morrill                  Pond, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Crotched Mountain. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place!
