Moose Pond is a nice lake to visit. Moose Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little visit to Moose Brook while you're here at Moose Pond, and a cool spot to have a look at is Table Rock. Moose Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. Do pop by Moose Pond near Moose Pond, it's a pretty lake; the summit of Abeniki Mountain can be distinguished from Moose Pond. At Moose Pond throughout the summertime highs are in the 70's. the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Moose Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Log Haven Campground while you're here at Moose Pond; get your pulse rate
up on the pleasant whitewater of Androscoggin River. You absolutely must have a thing about Moose Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mohawk River, and Ramblewood Cabins and Campground
is a fine local campground. Moose Pond is not far at all from Berlin, and Moose Brook Dam is a lovely place, positively worth stopping at.

Cedar Pond
 | 14 miles away I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are.... |
