Moose Pond is a lake worth visiting. So many amusing things to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Lakes are great; Farm Pond is a lake that's near Moose Pond; paddling on Mohawk River is so much fun. This spot, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Here at Moose Pond you'll possibly meet some folks from Berlin, and Abeniki Mountain is a peak you can make out from Moose Pond. The yearly rainfall here at Moose Pond is about average; August

Cedar Pond
 | 14 miles away I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are.... |
