A visit to Moose Pond is always a good idea. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Moose Pond temperatures are mostly in the 50's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Moose Pond. Rocky Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and camping at Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort is always a perfect experience. This lake is so wonderful. hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Big Brook is a good local stream, and Cranmore Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. All the outdoors cool things right next door to Moose Pond will keep you coming back persistently.
Dry warm beds await you at Sky Valley Motel And Cottages; perfect skiing awaits you at Attitash Bear Peak. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Blackberry Crossing Campground is a wonderful site to do that, and there are
good sites to explore along the Middle Sister Trail. Moose Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swift River, and you can go for a hike on the Carter Ledge Trail.
