Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mirror Lake; Piper Trail is a perfect local trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Attitash Bear Peak is relatively near. At Mirror Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mirror Lake dipping down into the 0's

time. You get a delightful vista of Bald Mountain from Mirror Lake; great hiking is available along the Hammond Trail. It's a magnificent idea to stop at Stony Brook, it's in the neighborhood of Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake gets a
large amount of water; November is when you get the most rain here; September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains.
