You'll hit upon a stunning lake called Ammonoosucuc River Reservoir near Miller Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Ammonoosuc River. stuff in one place! Miller Pond rules! Miller Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Fransted Camp Grounds is a brilliant local campground; dry warm beds await you at Hearthside Village. Really splendid skiing awaits
you at Loon Mountain; Maplewood Country Club & Hotel is a glorious golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Gale River. There's so much to do here at Miller Pond that you
need to camp here for a while, Snowy Mountain Campground is a pleasant place for that. Miller Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. From a rain point of view Miller Pond is a relatively typical site; the month of August
is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. Summertime highs at Miller Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the-10's
for Miller Pond. So much amusing stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too tremendous to be true. From Miller Pond you obtain a great view of Garnet Mountain, and you can go for a hike on the Gale River Trail.
