During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Miller Pond are in the-10's. Miller Pond gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not       stop by Ammonoosucuc River Reservoir near Miller Pond, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Gale River Trail. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Loon Mountain is close to Miller Pond, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Maplewood Country Club & Hotel. Miller Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Just can't get enough of Miller Pond. Hiking along the Mount Kinsman Trail is glorious fun, and Barrett Brook                  is near Miller Pond and is always a delight to take a look at. The snow is tremendous at Cannon Mountain, and going for a hike along the Skookumchuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Camping at Snowy Mountain Campground is always a good experience, and Hillwinds Lodge is a perfect place to get some rest. So much entertaining stuff in the White Mountains, just astonishing. Miller Pond Dam is not far at all from Miller Pond, and Ammonoosuc River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. So many enjoyable things to do at Miller Pond, so little time. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gale River. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the White Mountains. If you need a site to stay Best Western White Mountain Resort is a great choice, and from Miller Pond you get a tremendous vista of Garnet Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
