For the duration of the summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Miles Pond. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Miles Pond. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Miles Pond has it all. Miles Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Jigger Jonnson Campground       2 is a great local campground; everyone close by loves skiing at Waterville Valley. Lakes? Sure, Taylor Pond is in the neighborhood, and don't forget to take a magnificent little trip to Atwood Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Bearcamp River in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Red Path is always a great adventure. That right there is loads of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Get yourself                  into a kayak and hit Cold Brook, and nearby you hit upon the Mount Katherine Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. At Miles Pond you can see Brown Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Rodeway Inn Moultonborough is a perfect location to get some rest; a great site to camp here at Miles Pond is Pine Woods Campground. Miles Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Lots of people from Laconia come to Miles Pond; Braga Pond is a great lake close by. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. The slopes of Gunstock are so inviting nobody can resist, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Silver Fox Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. If you're interested in cool geologic highlights, try Bragg Ledge, and there are perfect places to discover along the Gordon Path.
