If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ascutney is near Middle Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Middle Pond has to offer, you can camp at The Farm Campground. Here at Middle Pond you'll in all probability meet some folks from Keene, and Fall Mountain is clearly visible from Middle Pond. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to Middle Pond has to offer. Not far from Middle Pond, you'll find Connecticut River Reservoir which is a wonderful lake. There's so much to do here at Middle Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Tree Farm Campground is a splendid location for that. At Middle Pond during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Middle Pond tend to be in the 0's.
