Middle Pond gets a lot of water; all through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is beautiful, you obtain a great sight of Buck Hill from Middle Pond; you can go for a hike on the Old Country Road. Don't leave Middle Pond without first going for       a hike along the Wapack Trail, and there's whitewater on Contoocook River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Camping is available at Mile/Away Campground, and do check out Upper Pond, it's a beautiful lake. Lots of folks from Concord come to Middle Pond, and hey, Amey Brook is a great local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Wilmot Trail is always a good adventure; a splendid place to camp here at Middle Pond is Rock' N Birch Campground.                  Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Middle Pond. A golf course in the neighborhood of Middle Pond is Duston Country Club Golf Course, and since you're here, you could also check out picturesque Long Pond. During the summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Middle Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Middle Pond fall into the 0's. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Pats Peak is near Middle Pond, and dry warm beds await you at The Henniker Motel. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot.
