Middle Pond usually gets much precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Middle Pond. The Centennial is a good place to get some rest. Crotched Mountain is a nice local ski area, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Country Road. For the duration of the summer months at Middle       Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Middle Pond are in the 0's. Any time is a delightful time at Middle Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you came to camp Mile/Away Campground is a great site to do that; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Amey Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Near Middle Pond you find a golf course called                  Duston Country Club Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay The Henniker Motel is a great choice. You can catch a glimpse of Buck Hill from Middle Pond; Middle Pond is not far at all from Concord. Contoocook River is a perfect whitewater spot right next door to Middle Pond, and the Wilmot Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Middle Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rock' N Birch Campground is a nice spot for that, and Grassy Pond Dam is a beautiful site, absolutely worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Middle Pond is right by the Wapack Trail, and while you're here, you could also pop by striking Carr Pond.
