Burtt Wildlife Pond Dam has good water scenery and it's right next door to Meadow Lake, and if you get bored of Meadow Lake you could also explore nearby Harvey Lake. Going for a hike along the Catamount Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; here at Meadow Lake you can catch a glimpse of Blakes Hill. On a great day you can explore Woodman Marsh, a swamp in the neighborhood of Meadow Lake, and if you came to camp Saddleback Campground

| | is a delightful place to do that. Get wet paddling on Suncook River, and do take a hike on the Campground Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Meadow Lake; most of the rain falls through November while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ROCHESTER is a great spot to get some rest, and hey, Sherburne Brook is a tremendous local stream. Now, you may think that's heaps | |

but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Meadow Lake. Whitewater paddling is good on Little Suncook, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. Throughout the warm days of
summer highs here at Meadow Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Meadow Lake. Not enough hours in
a day to enjoy this site. After a long day outdoors Loudon Red Roof Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to McIntyre and strap some skis to your feet; Burtt Wildlife Pond is a nearby lake
that you could check out. Everybody loves Bettys Meadows, and Meadow Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Blake's Brook Campground is a fine local campground.
