Be careful coming to McMahons Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. A great close by hotel is The Bedford Village Inn, and the friendly folks of Manchester-Nashua like to hang out nearby. At McMahons Pond all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's; night lows in       the 10's for McMahons Pond. You get a tremendous panorama of Beards Hill from McMahons Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around McMahons Pond; Old Country Road is a nice local trail. If you need a location to stay Hill - Brook Motel is a perfect choice; camping is available at Autumn Hills Campground. A lot of precipitation falls at McMahons Pond; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is September. Camping at Skypark Campground                  is always a great experience; paddling on Merrimack River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course right next door to McMahons Pond is Intervale Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Piscataquog River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Onemile Trail.
