Hill - Brook Motel is a pleasant location to get some rest, and close by you stumble on the Old Country Road which is a good hiking trail. There's just no way someone can get bored here at McMahons Pond. From McMahons Pond you get a delightful vista of Beards Hill; get your heart pumping on the good whitewater       of Piscataquog River. A pleasant spot to camp here at McMahons Pond is Skypark Campground, and after a long day outdoors The Bedford Village Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Intervale Country Club; you can run the rapids of Merrimack River. A good deal of precipitation falls at McMahons Pond; November is the month that gets the most rain, and September is the month with the least                  moisture. Throughout the warmest time of the year at McMahons Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's; the nighttime is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at McMahons Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Skiing at McIntyre is one of those things you just must do; there are plenty of folks from Manchester-Nashua here at McMahons Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from McMahons Pond, you'll hit upon Piscataquog River Reservoir which is a beautiful lake, and there are brilliant places to look at along the Catamount Trail. Lakes?
