McKiels Pond is always a pleasure to visit. McKiels Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes McKiels Pond a wet place; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail in close proximity to McKiels Pond called the Bear Mountain Ski Trail.

Attitash Bear Peak are so inviting noone can resist.
Having a pleasant time in the White Mountains is easy. After a long day outdoors North Colony Motel is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Blackberry
Crossing Campground. If you need a location to stay Attitash Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center is a magnificent choice; glide down the rapids of Saco River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time
of year, Swift River offers some splendid whitewater; there are great sites to look at along the Reservoir Trail.
All through the warm days of summer at McKiels Pond temperatures are typically in the 50's, and through the night
it cools down to the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while McKiels Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.
