whitewater paddling is splendid on Sugar River. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the beach if you want, Dewey Beach is practically right here, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Croyden Brook. This place, McAlvin Pond, it absolutely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. You don’t have to go far from McAlvin Pond to see the water at Otter Pond Dam, and great hiking is available along the West Ridge Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Loon Lake Campground since you're here at McAlvin Pond, and if you get bored of McAlvin Pond you could also visit close by Baptist Pond.
