Go to Mayberry Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Mayberry Pond get into the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mayberry Pond. Mayberry Pond is a rather wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls all through November, and the driest month of the year

| | is January. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Mayberry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Pats Peak has good slopes and a friendly staff, and there's wonderful hiking along the Mitchell Hill Road. A pretty lake like Sandhill Pond in the neighborhood of Mayberry Pond is a fine location to go to; if you come at the right time of year, Piscataquog River - South Branch offers some tremendous whitewater. its best, and drift down the rapids of Souhegan River in a kayak. Friendly Beaver Camp Ground is a great local campground, and don't leave Mayberry Pond without first going for a hike along the Old Country Road. At Mayberry Pond
you can see Cochran Hill, and naturally Cold Brook flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Mayberry Pond you'll most likely meet some folks from Manchester-Nashua; why not camp at Wildwood Campground since
you're here at Mayberry Pond. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Colby Pond next to Mayberry Pond, and after a long day outdoors The Henniker Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. If only every place had
this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. If you need a site to stay Hill - Brook Motel is a perfect choice; Crotched Mountain is a very popular ski area close by.
