There's whitewater on Piscataquog River - South Branch for all you adrenaline kick people, and the peak of Cochran Hill can be made out from Mayberry Pond. For the duration of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Mayberry Pond. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's; nighttime lows during the winter for Mayberry Pond tend       to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Cold Brook, and going for a hike on the Old Country Road is always a good adventure. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mayberry Pond has to offer, you can camp at Friendly Beaver Camp Ground, and there are fine locations to discover along the Mitchell Hill Road. Mayberry Pond is a rather wet place typically with a good deal of precipitation; throughout November                  this area sees the most rain while January is generally the driest month. Mayberry Pond is a good place to camp, Wildwood Campground is a good place, and you'll meet a lot of people from Manchester-Nashua here. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Souhegan River, and Pats Peak is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Crotched Mountain. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things close to Mayberry Pond. Don't leave Mayberry Pond without first going for a hike along the Wapack Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Chalet Susse International.
