There's so much to do here at Marshall Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Northstar Campground is a great place for that; going for a hike on the Hang Glider Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express SPRINGFIELD is a glorious choice. Lakes? Sure, Hilliard Pond is close at hand. | | more than a day at, Crow's Nest The is a fine local campground, and Cold River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Claremont, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Ascutney. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Marshall Pond Dam, and people from Keene love to come here. You can run the rapids of Sugar River next to Marshall Pond, and some of the water close by flows, like Meadow Brook. | |

On a delightful day you obtain a view of Hedgehog Hill from Marshall Pond, and not far from Marshall Pond you'll locate Crescent Lake which is a striking lake. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great
world it would be. Near Marshall Pond you find the Slot Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Mount Sunapee. This lake is so wonderful. The Futures Trail is a good hiking trail close to Marshall Pond,
and if you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Claremont Country Club Country Club. Marshall Pond is a good site of normal rain; most of the rain falls all through May, and February is the month with the least moisture.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Marshall Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Marshall Pond sink into the 0's.
