Coffin Brook is in the neighborhood of Marsh Pond and is always a bliss to check out; do take a hike on the Campground Trail. The slopes of Gunstock are so inviting noone can resist, and New Durham Dam is a wonderful location, without doubt worth a visit. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Abenaki, and on a delightful day you                  obtain a great panorama of Mount Bet from Marsh Pond. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Marsh Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Green Tops Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Alton Town Beach. Through the months of summer at Marsh Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows at Marsh Pond through the wintertime typically dip into the 0's. Roberts Knoll Campground is a good local campground; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ROCHESTER is a tremendous place to get some rest.
