This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Suncook River; since you're here, you could also explore pretty Coldrain Pond. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Marchs Pond. You'll discover a gorgeous lake called Chalk       Pond near Marchs Pond; a good nearby hotel is Wolfeboro Inn. Whitewater paddling is good on Lovell River. There's so much to do here at Marchs Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Pond Camping Area is a good spot for that. Marchs Pond typically gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is January.
