Lakes are magnificent; Poverty Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to March Pond, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Concord here. March Pond is located in the White Mountains. A normal amount of rain falls here at March Pond; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Camping at       Bear Mountain Rustic Campground LLC is always a tremendous experience, and after a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a great site to spend a night or two. Summer at March Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at March Pond dip into the 0's. Yeah, come up here to                  the White Mountains for a great time. The Melton Falls Trail offers hiking at its best, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Smith River. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Dickinson Hill from March Pond; you can run the rapids of Fowler River. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are in fact bountiful here at March Pond. The snow is great at Ragged Mountain, and March Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is a nice local campground. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Tenney Mountain is in the vicinity of March Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Red Carpet Motel is a glorious choice; there's great hiking along the Wilmot Trail.
