This place, Mailly Pond, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Lazy Dog Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest, and camping is available at Wabanaki Campgrounds. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool things to do in the White Mountains. You can never get enough of the nice skiing at Cranmore Mountain, and if you come at the right time of year, Lovell River offers some       delightful whitewater. One of the governing features of the surroundings of Mailly Pond is Crothers Hill; going for a hike along the White Ledge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side journey to Deer Brook, and hiking along the Weetamoo Trail is delightful fun. After a long day outdoors Wind Song Motor Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, also Chocorua River Dam is worth a visit since you're                  here. If you came for an overnight stay Foothills Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Mailly Pond is a reasonably wet place frequently with much rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is September. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Swift River, and Blue Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Mailly Pond is located in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at King Pine while you're here, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Piper Trail. Through the warm months here at Mailly Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's.
