Why not stop by Mailly Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Mailly Pond is not the only place nearby, Chocorua River Reservoir is a nearby lake, and the Weetamoo Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. Mailly Pond gets lots of water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Luxury Mountain

| | Getaways is a nice site to get some rest; if you come at the right time of year, Lovell River offers some tremendous whitewater. For the period of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Mailly Pond; the overnight is a bit cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Mailly Pond tend to be in the 0's. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Mailly Pond is so good! Dry | |

warm beds await you at Merrill Farm Resort, and Chocorua Camping Village KOA is a glorious campground nearby. Chocorua River Dam is not far at all from Mailly Pond; needless to say Deer Brook flows through this vicinity. All the
outdoors amusing things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Really fine skiing awaits you at King Pine, and Crothers Hill is pretty and can be seen from here. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Mailly Pond
will keep you coming back repeatedly. Glide down the rapids of Swift River in a kayak, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the White Ledge Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Mailly
Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Foothills Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and close by you stumble on the Piper Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Looking
for something next to Mailly Pond? Moores Pond is around here; Cranmore Mountain has splendid slopes and a friendly staff.
