Mack Pond is always a pleasure to visit. High temperatures at Mack Pond through the long summer days are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Mack Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. | | spot to stay Merrill Farm Resort is a great choice. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. You'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Blue Pond near Mack Pond; Luxury Mountain Getaways is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swift River, and since you're here, you could also go to beautiful Drew Pond. | |

But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. If you're here at Mack Pond, you could take a look at Deer River, and at Mack Pond you can catch a glimpse of Crothers Hill. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff
to do right next door to Mack Pond. Hiking along the Weetamoo Trail is wonderful fun, and camping is available at Chocorua Camping Village KOA. A good place to camp here at Mack Pond is Eastern Slope Camping Area; you need to stop
by Madison Boulder while you're here. Mack Pond usually gets a large amount of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and September is when it's the driest. Take a hike on the White Ledge Trail; hey, Gotta ski right?
King Pine is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Piper Trail, and delightful scenery and fine skiing is what you acquire at Cranmore Mountain.
