Gotta ski! McIntyre is a great place to do that; you can stay the night at Skypark Campground. During the summertime months highs here at Lower School Pond get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Lower School Pond.       Lower School Pond is a reasonably wet place generally with much rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture. Silver Hill can be seen from Lower School Pond. There's so much to do here at Lower School Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Autumn Hills Campground is a great spot for that. Visit Ash Brook while you're here at Lower School Pond, and there are other locations here than                  Lower School Pond, for example Turkey Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Little Turkey Pond in the neighborhood of Lower School Pond, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Merrimack River. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. After a long day outdoors Centennial Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Beaver Meadow Golf Course. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in close proximity to Lower School Pond. Lower School Pond is right by the Catamount Trail, and the Onemile Trail offers hiking at its best. Very lovely scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Pats Peak, and if you come at the right time of year, Piscataquog River offers some fine whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
