Throughout the days of summer here at Lower Baker Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lower Baker Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. Sentinel Mountain State Forest is worth a visit, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Grimes       Hill Road. A great close by hotel is Ammonoosuc Inn; the view of Atwell Hill is stunning. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; why not camp at Pine Haven Campground since you're here at Lower Baker Pond. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains.
