What a nice lake Lost Ponds is. Dry warm beds await you at Wolfeboro Inn, and there are great places to explore along the Weetamoo Trail. Lost Ponds typically gets much rain; through November this area sees the most rain while January is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Pine River Campground, and don't leave Lost Ponds without first going for a hike along the White Ledge Trail. Camping at Beaver Hollow Campground

| | is always a pleasant experience, and do check out Frenchman Brook if you're here at Lost Ponds. Summertime highs at Lost Ponds mostly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Lost Ponds during the winter commonly descend into the 0's. River State Forest is a perfect local forest. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Lost Ponds. Lakes? Sure, Black Pond is in the neighborhood; there's good hiking along the Piper Trail. Really fine skiing awaits
you at King Pine, and if you need a place to stay Merrill Farm Resort is a good choice. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Abenaki, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Ossipee River. There's some interesting stuff to see at Huckins Pond Dam in the vicinity of Lost Ponds, and whitewater paddling is good on Lovell River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff
at Lost Ponds. Indian Mound Golf Club is a golf course near Lost Ponds; there are other sites here than Lost Ponds, for example White Pond.
