In New Hampshire there are many beautiful lakes, Lost Pond is one of them. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Lost Pond has it all. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Ellis River, and Bretton Arms Country Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here at Lost Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lost Pond has to offer, you can camp at White Birches Mtn Camping

| | Park, and Wildcat is a glorious local ski area. Cutler River is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and Glen Ellis Falls is a magnificent local attraction. Lost Pond is a brilliant spot to camp, Timberland Camping Area is a brilliant spot, and what would a place like Lost Pond be without interesting close by features like Glen Boulder. a great adventure. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. At Lost Pond you can make out Lows Bald Spot, and you can go for a hike on the Raymond Path. Summer brings highs
in the 50's to Lost Pond while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Lost Pond descend into the-10's. This
lake is so wonderful. Lost Pond is right next door to Huntington Ravine which is certainly worth going to, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Peabody River - West Branch. Yeah,
come up here to the White Mountains for a glorious time. After a long day outdoors Nestlenook Farm Resort is a delightful spot to spend a night or two; don't leave Lost Pond without first going for a hike along the Old Jackson Road.
Lost Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and January on the other hand is the driest. Lost Pond is located in the White Mountains.
