Lost Pond is a nice lake to visit. So many fun things in the White Mountains, just fantastic. If you need a place to stay Bretton Arms Country Inn is a good choice, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Wildcat. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Nestlenook Farm Resort, and there's splendid hiking along the Raymond Path. A large amount of rainfall falls at Lost Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the

| | most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Ellis River; close by you stumble on great spots like Huntington Ravine. Be careful coming to Lost Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lost Pond. Really great skiing awaits you at Black Mountain; the Old Jackson Road offers hiking at its best. And that's not all you can do here | |

in the White Mountains. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a tremendous panorama of Lows Bald Spot from Lost Pond, and some close by water includes Cutler River. Lost Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Whitewater
paddling is magnificent on Peabody River - West Branch, and Glen Ellis Falls is an inspiring place to stop by during your stay. During the summertime highs here at Lost Pond get into the 50's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs
all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lost Pond temperatures sink to the-10's. Lost Pond is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Timberland Camping Area is a
tremendous site to camp nearby, and great hiking is available along the Crew Cut Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lost Pond has to offer, you can camp at White Birches Mountain Camping Park, and if you're hooked on cool geologic marks try Glen Boulder.
