This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Haverhill. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Loon Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pine Acres Recreation. There's whitewater on Suncook River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Catamount Trail. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at McIntyre since you're here.       This lake is so wonderful. Loon Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Pine Acres Family Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and an afternoon playing golf at Kingston Fairways Golf Club is always a diversion. For the duration of the months of summer at Loon Pond highs are regularly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down during                  the wintertime temperatures at Loon Pond drop into the 10's. Going for a hike along the Campground Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and gorgeous scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at Bradford. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Loon Pond. The peak of Beede Hill can be made out from Loon Pond, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. After a long day outdoors Best Western Merrimack Valley is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; if you've had enough of Loon Pond, Dead Pond is nearby. You're probably interested in lakes, Bunker Pond is one of those nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Suncook.
