Sure, Dead Pond is close by, and Comfort Suites Haverhill is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Little Suncook is a magnificent whitewater spot near Loon Pond, and Loon Pond is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Pine Acres Recreation is a fine place to camp nearby. Loon Pond gets much water; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. A good close by hotel is       Best Western Merrimack Valley; Pine Acres Family Campground is a good campground nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in close proximity to Loon Pond. At Loon Pond you can see Beede Hill, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Bradford, and hiking along the Campground Trail is good fun. Summertime at Loon Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's.                  During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Loon Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of McIntyre are so inviting noone can resist; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Kingston Fairways Golf Club. There are other places here than Loon Pond, for example Bunker Pond; going for a hike along the Catamount Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
