Man, is there lots of fun things to do in the White Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Loon Mountain is right next door to Loon Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri). Just can't get enough of Loon Pond. Soar down the rapids of Pemigewasset River in a kayak, and some of the water nearby flows, like Boyle Brook. So many amusing things to       do at Loon Pond, so little time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Loon Pond; Wilderness Trail is a great local trail. Through the warm months, highs typically are in the 70's at Loon Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Loon Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Loon Pond, you could also                  explore close by Russell Pond, and InnSeason Resorts Pollard Brook is a great place to get some rest. Good hiking is available along the Little East Pond Trail, and don't leave Loon Pond without first going for a hike along the Osseo Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Waterville Valley is a perfect local ski area, and paddling on Pemigewasset River - East Branch is so much fun. You completely should have a thing about the White Mountains. At Loon Pond you can catch a glimpse of North Peak; if you came for an overnight stay Hancock Campground is a delightful location to camp. Do go to Loon Pond Dam if you're here at Loon Pond, and Little Loon Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Playing golf is lots of fun at Jack O'Lantern Golf Course, and camping is available at Country Bumpkins.
