Loon Pond is a lake worth visiting. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's so much to do here at Loon Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Country Bumpkins is a wonderful place for that; if the weather is delightful, you obtain a great sight of North Peak from Loon Pond. Loon Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Hancock Campground is a perfect local campground; the Osseo Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake

| | is so wonderful. Beacon Motel is a perfect location to get some rest, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Jack O'Lantern Golf Course. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in close proximity to Loon Pond. Take a hike on the Wilderness Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pemigewasset River - East Branch. stumble upon during your stay, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Loon Mountain. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Mt Coolidge Motel, and you're probably
hooked on lakes, Little Loon Pond is one of those close by. Throughout the warm months here at Loon Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.
Throughout the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Loon Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Loon Pond is right by the Little East Pond Trail, and Loon Pond
Dam is a scenic site, unquestionably worth going to. If you come at the right time of year, Pemigewasset River offers some good whitewater, and you can hit the slopes at Waterville Valley nearby. Loon Pond gets a common amount
of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.
