If you are in Grafton county it's always a good idea to stop by Loon Pond. If the weather is perfect here at Loon Pond, you can go for a hike along the Wilderness Trail; Loon Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hancock Campground is a tremendous local campground. Loon Pond is located in the White Mountains. All year is a tremendous time in the White Mountains if you go for the outdoors. A wonderful nearby hotel is InnSeason Resorts Pollard

| | Brook, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Waterville Valley is pretty near.
If you come at the right time of year, Pemigewasset River - East Branch offers some delightful whitewater, and Boyle Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. The snow is wonderful at Loon Mountain, and nice water scenery is available at Loon Pond Dam in close proximity to Loon Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots | |

on Pemigewasset River, and going for a hike along the Osseo Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the White Mountains. Lakes? Sure, East Pond is close at
hand; the sight of charming North Peak is great. Just can't get enough of Loon Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Loon Pond you can take a hike along the Little East Pond Trail, and near Loon Pond you discover a
golf course called Jack O'Lantern Golf Course.
Loon Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Throughout the
summer months at Loon Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Loon Pond are in the 0's. But wait,
there's more to do in close proximity to Loon Pond. There's so much to do here at Loon Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Country Bumpkins is a magnificent site for that, and after a long day outdoors Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri) is a good spot to spend a night or two.
