This place, Loon Lake, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Loon Lake has to offer, you can camp at R & B Camp Baggage, and a round of golf at nearby Owl's Nest Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. Lakes are such calm sites, why not take a look at Bog Pond next to Loon Lake, and Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is       a good site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Branch Brook is a wonderful whitewater spot near Loon Lake, and Tenney Mountain has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. On a great day at Loon Lake you can take a hike along the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail, and after a long day outdoors Red Carpet Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. The annual precipitation here at Loon Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August                  while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. There's so much to do here at Loon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Masquebec Hill is a nice place for that, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Stinson Mountain Trail. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the White Mountains. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Halls Brook, and the Peaked Hill Pond Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Campton Bog Pond in the vicinity of Loon Lake is a fine place to explore; Loon Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Loon Lake reach the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's.
