This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Hit the slopes at Loon Mountain close at hand; Red Carpet Motel is a great place to get some rest. So many enjoyable things to do here in the White Mountains, too wonderful to be true. The Peaked Hill Pond Trail offers hiking at its best, and an afternoon playing golf at Owl's Nest Golf Club is always a joy. Get drenched paddling       on Halls Brook, and there's good hiking along the Stinson Mountain Trail. Yeah, come here to Loon Lake for a great time. Why not camp at R & B Camp Baggage if you're here at Loon Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Tenney Mountain. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in the White Mountains. Paddling on Branch Brook is so much fun, and if you need a place to stay Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a nice choice.                  This lake is so wonderful. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Campton Bog Pond is a lake close at hand, and Camp Masquebec Hill is a great local campground. A normal amount of rain falls here at Loon Lake; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime at Loon Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Loon Lake through the wintertime frequently descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
