You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The sight of gorgeous Buck Hill near Long Pond is wonderful, and do take a hike on the Monadnock Sunapee Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Contoocook River is a glorious whitewater spot near Long Pond, and since you're here you can play some golf at Duston Country Club Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here       at Long Pond, you could also explore gorgeous Upper Pond, and why not head up to Crotched Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Pats Peak, and the Wilmot Trail offers hiking at its best. Do visit Middle Pond in close proximity to Long Pond, it's a pretty lake; dry warm beds await you at The Centennial. Long Pond is a wet site that gets a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year                  is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not camp at Rock' N Birch Campground while you're here at Long Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Country Road. Amey Brook flows through this neighborhood, and if you're popping by from Concord, you won't be the only one. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things close to Long Pond. The Henniker Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest; if you came for an overnight stay Mile/Away Campground is a great spot to camp. High temperatures at Long Pond throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's.
