Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Long Pond is excellent!. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Long Pond you can take a hike along the Blueberry Mountain Trail, and paddling on Baker River is so much fun. A magnificent close by hotel is Sunset Hill House, and you can stay the night at Moose Hillock Campground. Long Pond gets a normal amount of rain; during August this area sees the most rain, and       February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Wild Ammonoosuc River, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Black Mountain Trail. If the weather is good here at Long Pond, you can go for a hike along the Tunnel Brook Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Loon Mountain. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is abundant here in the White Mountains.
