Long Pond is a nice lake to visit. High temperatures at Long Pond throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Long Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Not far from Long Pond you obtain some great water scenery at Long Pond Dam; if you need a spot to stay Ammonoosuc Inn At Lisbon is a delightful choice. This

| | lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Long Pond without first going for a hike along the Blueberry Mountain Trail, and everybody close by loves skiing at Loon Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Wild Ammonoosuc River offers some glorious whitewater; camping at Moose Hillock Campground is always a nice experience. Looking for some flowing water? that's plenty but there's even more fun things to do here in the White Mountains. If you came to camp Scenic View Campground is a brilliant spot to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Hay Loft Inn at Blackmount. Whohoo, so
much entertaining stuff in one place! The White Mountains is unbeatable! Mount Clough is clearly visible from Long Pond; great hiking is available along the Tunnel Brook Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Long Pond; the wettest
month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Any time is a splendid time at Long Pond if you fancy the outdoors. There are some fine whitewater spots on Baker River, and you can go for a hike on the Black Mountain Trail.
