The beauty of Long Pond is reason enough to stop by. Long Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Moose Hillock Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Long Pond Dam is gorgeous and it's in the neighborhood of Long Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Baker River. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. An average amount of rainfall falls at Long Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most

| | of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Mount Clough can be seen from Long Pond, and float down the rapids of Wild Ammonoosuc River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. The Blueberry Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and everybody close by loves skiing at Cannon Mountain. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. A pleasant nearby hotel is Sunset Hill House. Lakes? Sure, Mud Pond | |

is in close proximity. All the outdoors cool things in close proximity to Long Pond will keep you coming back persistently. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Pond; Black Mountain Trail is a great local trail, and some of
the water nearby flows, like Howe Hill. There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic View Campground is a fine place for that; hey, Gotta ski right? Loon Mountain is a delightful site to do
that. At Long Pond throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's; the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come
with lows in the 0's to Long Pond. You definitely should like the White Mountains. Long Pond is right by the Tunnel Brook Trail, and if you need a site to stay Ammonoosuc Inn is a great choice.
