Long Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Log Haven Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Long Pond is not the only spot close by, Bear Brook Pond is a close by lake. You don’t have to go far from Long Pond to observe the water at Errol Dam, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Androscoggin River. This spot, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. Why not camp at Mollidgewock

has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Magalloway Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Long Pond a quite wet place; through the month of August you get the most
rain around here, and the driest month is February. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do next to Long Pond. Take a hike on the Speck Pond Trail; a lake close by is Round Pond Lake. So much amusing stuff to do in the
White Mountains, not enough time. After a long day outdoors A Top Notch Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two.
