What a nice lake Long Pond is. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a brilliant time. Going for a hike on the Attitash Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and a scenic lake like Hatch Pond is a nice place to go to. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Tohkomeupog is a fine site for that, and there's whitewater on

| | Ossipee River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Dry warm beds await you at Merrill Farm Resort, and you'll locate a pretty lake called Pickerel Pond. That right there is plenty of entertaining things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Long Pond is a rather wet place generally with a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through November while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hill is easy to spot from Long Pond, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Cranmore Mountain is relatively near. There are magnificent places to explore along the Bear Brook Trail, and as expected Ferrin Brook is a pretty stream
that is worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Long Pond is close to White Lake State Park which is a delightful site, and you can run the rapids of Swift River. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.
Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Long Pond. If you need a spot to stay North Conway Grand Hotel is a magnificent choice; you can go for a hike on the Bald Land Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to
enjoy this place. Long Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Wabanaki Campground is a fine local campground, and a day on the slopes of King Pine is just what you need. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs mostly
are in the 80's at Long Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Long Pond tend to be in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Very perfect water scenery is available at Purity Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Long Pond, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Eaton Center.
