In New Hampshire there are many beautiful lakes, Long Pond is one of them. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Purity Lake Dam is not far at all from Long Pond; since you're here you can take a hike along the Attitash Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Merrill Farm Resort is a good site to spend a night or two, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Swift River. Long Pond is located in the White Mountains.

| | The snow is brilliant at Cranmore Mountain. Lakes are fine; Duck Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Long Pond. So many exciting things to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. On a wonderful day at Long Pond you can take a hike along the Bear Brook Trail, and on a lovely day you acquire a good panorama of Manson Hill from Long Pond. Campground while you're here at Long Pond; dry warm beds await you at North Conway Grand Hotel. At Long Pond you always meet someone from Eaton Center, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Ferrin Brook. And if that's
not enough, there's heaps more to do in the vicinity of Long Pond. You can run the rapids of Ossipee River close to Long Pond. Long Pond gets a good deal of water; November is the wettest month with most rain, and September on the
other hand is the driest. Head up to King Pine and strap some skis to your feet, and camping is available at Camp Tohkomeupog. This lake is so wonderful. White Lake State Park is a tremendous spot to have a look at, and the Bald
Land Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Long Pond while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Long Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
