Lancaster Motor Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest; if you came to camp Nay Pond Campground is a glorious place to do that. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Long Mountain Pond has it all. And that's not all you can do here at Long Mountain Pond. There's always Little Bog Pond Dam to stop at near Long Mountain Pond, and camping at Nay Pond Campground is always a pleasant experience. This lake is so wonderful.       While you're here at Long Mountain Pond, you could also pop by pretty Little Bog Pond; Upper Ammonoosuc River - West Branch is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. Near Long Mountain Pond you locate the Carlton Notch which is a brilliant hiking trail, and the friendly folks of North Stratford like to hang out nearby. An average amount of rainfall falls at Long Mountain Pond; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the                  driest month.
