If you are in Grafton county it's always a good idea to stop by Lonesome Lake. Through the days of summer at Lonesome Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lonesome Lake are in the 0's. That right there is plenty of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Lonesome

| | Lake is right by the Cascade Brook Trail, and if you've had enough of Lonesome Lake, Mud Pond is close by. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. You're probably into lakes, Echo Lake is one of those close by; getting to Cascade Brook from Lonesome Lake is simple. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a glorious time. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lonesome Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lafayette Campground, and | |

glide down the rapids of Cascade Brook in a kayak. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Take a hike on the Fishin Jimmy Trail, and you'll almost certainly meet some folks from
North Woodstock here. A nice location like The Basin here at Lonesome Lake is too fine to miss; you can hit the slopes at Loon Mountain close by. Lonesome Lake is a good site of typical rain; August is the month that gets the
most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lonesome Lake and you like golf, you can stop at Sunset Hill Golf Course, and Franconia Notch State Park is a nice site to stretch
your legs a bit. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Around the Lake Trail. There's so much to do here at Lonesome Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Campers World Campground is a brilliant
place for that. Dry warm beds await you at Beacon Resort, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pemigewasset River. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more exciting
stuff to do here at Lonesome Lake. Old Man of the Mountain is an exciting site to pop by while at Lonesome Lake; Franconia Notch is a great spot to check out. Franconia Notch Motel is a great place to get some rest, and from Lonesome
Lake you obtain a glorious sight of The Cannon Balls. This lake is so wonderful. Cannon Mountain has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, and a short journey to Bridalveil Falls is always worthwhile.
