Beautiful Lonely Lake has much to offer visitors. During the summer here at Lonely Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Lonely Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lonely Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort, and great skiing awaits you at
Cranmore Mountain. From Lonely Lake you acquire a magnificent panorama of Bald Mountain, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Weetamoo Trail. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Lonely Lake. After a long day
outdoors Lazy Dog Inn is a delightful location to spend a night or two, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Hammond Trail.
Lonely Lake gets a great deal of water; the month of November is the wettest with most
of the rain, and the driest of the months is September. There's no way someone can get bored here in the White Mountains. If you're keen on cool geologic marks, try Bragdon Ledge, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Attitash Bear Peak.
