All the outdoors exciting stuff in the White Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Get drenched paddling on Bearcamp River, and the sight of striking Bald Mountain is magnificent. A large amount of precipitation falls at Lonely Lake; the month with most of the rain is November while September is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Hammond Trail, and you must       absolutely go to Bragdon Ledge while here. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort is a wonderful campground nearby; some nearby water includes Stony Brook. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. The Piper Trail offers hiking at its best; dry warm beds await you at Attitash Mountain Village Resort. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Cranmore Mountain, and Lonely Lake is a splendid location to visit for more                  than one day, Chocorua Camping Village KOA is a splendid location to camp nearby. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Lonely Lake. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Attitash Bear Peak; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lonely Lake; Weetamoo Trail is a great local trail. Summertime at Lonely Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while Lonely Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's.
