     Lombard Pond is a nice lake to visit. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Lombard Pond highs are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Lombard Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. You could also pop by Lime Pond if you're here at Lombard Pond; it's nearby; getting to Beaver Brook from Lombard Pond is painless. And  
   if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Stevens Hill can be made out from Lombard Pond; golf can be played at Colebrook Country Club Motel.
So much exciting stuff to do at Lombard Pond, so little time. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Mohawk River, and after a long day outdoors Coos Motor Inn is a delightful site to spend a night or two. Lombard Pond is located in the Green Mountains. This
 
               lake is so wonderful. A visit to Beaver Brook Falls will fill your soul with splendid feelings, and you can go for a hike on the Moose Trail.
From a rainfall point of view Lombard Pond is a quite normal site; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Stay the night at Notch View; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Balsams Wilderness since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Matthews Pond, and there are plenty of folks from Berlin here.
Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lombard Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mohawk Valley Camping Area is a tremendous place for that; perfect hiking is available along the Loon Trail. Don't leave Lombard Pond without first going for a hike along the Shore Trail.

Growing up I have had a place on maidstone lake it was my favorit spot at a kid and one day I hope to own another camp up there. I had the best time from water skiing to fishing. To me the best time of year was 4th of July because of all the fireworks and the early morning cannon going off!! and Winter snow mobiling -40 degree wether cant beet it! RED WOOD ON THE ROCKS!...
