     Gotta ski! Mount Sunapee is a good location to do that, and Sugar River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Camping is available at Loon Lake Campground, and at Little Stocker Pond you always meet someone from Lebanon. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Little Stocker Pond. Hiking along the West Ridge Trail is pleasant fun, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Croyden  
   Brook. You can make out Barton Hill from Little Stocker Pond, and unsurprisingly, this is a tremendous area for folks who like lakes, Palazzi Pond is a lake in the neighborhood.
Little Stocker Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. The slopes of Whaleback are so inviting noone can resist; why not visit Bog Brook Dam while you're here.
 
               Any time is a splendid time at Little Stocker Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. A day at pretty Dewey Beach in the vicinity of Little Stocker Pond is a glorious thing to do; if you came for an overnight stay Rand Pond Campground is a fine spot to camp.
Through the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Little Stocker Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and night lows at Little Stocker Pond throughout the winter usually dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a glorious spot to get some rest, and Little Stocker Pond is right by the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A quick journey to Bog Brook near Little Stocker Pond is a good idea, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Lebanon/Hanover is a great location to spend a night or two. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Bog Brook Reservoir is one of those close by.

I went to this mountain with my school and it was a really fun expiernce and I am planning to go back with my school some time soon.......e mountain property, the new owners invested over $2 million into the resort for renovations including 14,000 feet of new snow making pipe, 25 new energy efficient snow guns, new snow groomers, a new Wonder carpet lift for beginners, chairlift improvements including reviving lift service to Spear Mountain, base lodge renovations including new carpet, the repair of steps and outside brick walkways, the addition of seasonal lockers and an outdoor fire pit, and adding two new restaurants.
The renovations did not stop there. In 2008, Ragged Mountain announced the addition of a new upscale dining establishment, additional snow-making capacity, and three all new terrain parks including one of the only all natural terrain parks in the East.
The resort development group has a history of building resorts around the Western U.S. and Canada. Along with the substantial funds to help with improvements, the new owners hired ski industry veteran Bob Fries as president and general manager to implement the necessary changes.
