If you need a location to stay Pilgrim Inn and Cottages is a perfect choice, and Little Squam Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is a great local campground. Nearby lakes? Sure, Ashland Town Sewage Lagoons is next to Little Squam Lake, and a splendid site for whitewater paddling is Mad River. Little Squam Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; most of the       rain falls during August, and the driest of the months is February. At Little Squam Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Little Squam Lake. Waterville Valley is a magnificent local ski area; from Little Squam Lake you acquire a tremendous sight of Hicks Hill. This site is great, just explore all the cool things                  to do next to Little Squam Lake. Little Squam Lake is next to Squam Lake Dam which is a lovely place positively worth visiting, and there's brilliant hiking along the Prospect Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Tenney Mountain is fine, and lots of people from Laconia come here. So much exciting stuff to do at Little Squam Lake, so little time. Playing golf is lots of fun at White MTN Country Club, and Beebe River is a fine whitewater spot close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Ashland; camping at Mountain View Family Campground is always a glorious experience. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a brilliant time. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Grist Mill Pond since you're here at Little Squam Lake; it's close by; hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Squam Lake; Cascade Trail is a great local trail. All the outdoors amusing things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back time and again.
