There's whitewater on Beebe River for all you thrill seekers; a lake nearby is Jackson Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Mad River; there are fine spots to explore along the Prospect Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the White Mountains has to offer. Why not visit Cotton Cove also while you're here; you can go for a hike       on the Cascade Trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Little Squam Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Here at Little Squam Lake there are plenty of people from Laconia, and Cotton Mountain is stunning and can be seen from here. Just can't get enough of Little Squam Lake. A day on the slopes of Waterville Valley is just what you need. There's so much to do here at Little Squam Lake that you need to                  camp here for a while, Bethel woods Campground is a glorious place for that. Going for a hike on the The Wall Trail is always a wonderful adventure; don't forget to take a tremendous little journey to Carr Brook. But wait, there's more to do close to Little Squam Lake. Head up to Tenney Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and if you get bored of Little Squam Lake you could also stop by nearby Little Squam Lake. High temperatures at Little Squam Lake all through the summer months are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Little Squam Lake descend into the 0's. A wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Inn Ashland, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like White MTN Country Club. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Little Squam Lake has to offer, you can camp at Squam Lakes Camp Resorts, and after a long day outdoors Pilgrim Inn and Cottages is a great site to spend a night or two.
