There are some nice whitewater spots on Merrimack River; the Wilmot Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. A common amount of rain falls here at Little Pond; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January. Really glorious

await you at The Henniker Motel. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Pats Peak, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Old Country Road. Lots of folks from Concord come
to Little Pond; Blackwater Dam is striking. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackwater River, and if the weather is pretty, you get a perfect panorama of Corser Hill from Little Pond. Take a little spree to Beaverdam Brook while
you're here at Little Pond, and Pillsbury Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place to camp here at Little Pond is Thousand Aces Family Campground; if you need a spot to stay Tilton/Lake
Winnipesaukee Super 8 Motel is a fine choice. Going for a hike on the Melton Falls Trail is always a great adventure, and camping at Cold Brook Campground is always a magnificent experience.
