What a nice lake Little Pond is. Little Pond is a good place of common rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Little Pond. Paddling on Merrimack River is so much fun. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Brook Campground is a perfect place to camp; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Blackwater River.

This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Tilton/Lake Winnipesaukee Super 8 Motel, and not far from Little Pond you acquire some brilliant water scenery at Blackwater Dam. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Little Pond. There's great hiking along the Wilmot Trail; there are plenty of people from Concord here. Thousand Aces Family Campground is a tremendous local campground; a charming lake like Walker Pond is a wonderful
place to take a look at.
If you need a place to stay The Henniker Motel is a great choice, and do check out Lake Winnepocket, it's a pretty lake. High temperatures at Little Pond during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Melton Falls Trail, and hey, Beaverdam Brook is a tremendous local stream.
This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Corser Hill can be made out from Little Pond, and Ragged Mountain has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. Really good skiing awaits you at Pats Peak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Pond; Old Country Road is a pleasant local trail.

Pillsbury Lake
We have lived on Pillsbury Lake for over 20 years and have enjoyed every minute. The countryside is beautiful! I walked our youngest child, Deborah Jean, in a stroller on our beautiful back roads. We have a wonderful family atmosphere of folks living here and a law enforcement that does a fabulous job keeping our town safe. We love to fish, swim and boat; and although we had a setback with the dam break for the summer of 2006, we look forward to seeing the repairs of our dam to once again restore our beautiful body of water. We have seen the population grow over the years with wonderful families ready to discover what we have here in Webster. Our four children all agree they thoroughly enjoyed growing up here....

Rock' N Birch Campground
this place is the bomb!!!...Another trip to RockNBirch and what an awsome time. Been there several times and it just keeps getting better.(?)...Excellent campground!Nice pond. Mostly seasonal sites but had primitive area out back for tenting. Very peacfull. My only complaint was with one of the annual campers. Real jerk, he kept saying Hey Man every five seconds...RockNBirch in Henniker is GREAT...Lots of fun at RockNBirch. The owner is great and insures his guests have a good time. Snowmobile right from R&B for awsome winter fun. Summer brings good Bass fishing right from campground. Autumn is almost as colorful as the campers at RockNBirch...stop in for some excitment soon....

The resort development group has a history of building resorts around the Western U.S. and Canada. Along with the substantial funds to help with improvements, the new owners hired ski industry veteran Bob Fries as president and general manager to implement the necessary changes. Fries has an impressive resume with 35 years in the ski resort business including five years as owner and president of Bolton Valley, president of Stratton Mountain in Vermont, and president of Breckenridge in Colorado.
With Fries as the new president, Ragged Mountain applied to Audubon International to become a Certified Silver Signature Sanctuary. Audubon International only accepts applications for this level of certification when it can be involved before the construction of infrastructure has begun in order to provide critical input in the design phase, and guidance as the design takes the form of...
