If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Little Pond. Merrimack River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; a magnificent location to camp here at Little Pond is Cold Brook Campground. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Pats Peak if you're here. Lakes? Sure, Flaghole Pond is around here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the       fun things at Little Pond. Going for a hike on the Old Country Road is always a glorious adventure, and a golf course nearby is Canterbury Woods Country Club. Contoocook River Reservoir is a nice lake right next door to Little Pond, and The Centennial is a nice spot to get some rest. For the period of the summertime highs here at Little Pond reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's                  with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Little Pond. Don't leave Little Pond without first going for a hike along the Onemile Trail; a forest close by is Allen State Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Thousand Aces Family Campground while you're here at Little Pond, and at Little Pond you can spot Dagody Hill. This lake is so wonderful. There are pleasant places to look at along the Wilmot Trail, and at Flaghole Pond Dam near Little Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blackwater River, and taking a little journey to close by Broad Cove is a tremendous idea. The annual precipitation here at Little Pond is about average; most of the rain falls all through May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Ragged Mountain, and some of the water close by flows, like Dolf Brook.
