Looking for something right next door to Little Pond? Little Turkey Pond is close at hand, and if you came for an overnight stay Skypark Campground is a glorious spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If you're dropping by Little Pond from Concord, you won't be the only one; Walker State Forest is a forest that you can go to. Summer at       Little Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Little Pond are in the 0's. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Near Little Pond you discover the Catamount Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Onemile Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things near Little                  Pond. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Beaver Meadow Golf Course is in the vicinity, and after a long day outdoors The Centennial is a great place to spend a night or two. The Old Country Road is a brilliant hiking trail next to Little Pond, and the summit of Jerry Hill can be spotted from Little Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Penacook Lake since you're here at Little Pond; it's close by, and drift down the rapids of Merrimack River in a kayak. A brilliant nearby hotel is Centennial Inn, and a day on the slopes of McIntyre is just what you need. Concord Water Works Dam is not far at all from Little Pond; if you come at the right time of year, Blackwater River offers some pleasant whitewater.
