If you like skiing, you're in luck; Tenney Mountain is near Little Pond, and Hardy Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. Throughout the long summer days here at Little Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Little Pond       sink into the 0's. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the White Mountains. There are great sites to look at along the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail, and Fowler River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. The skiing at Ragged Mountain is pleasant. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Manning Trail, and Baker River Campground is a great local campground. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's                  even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Little Pond. You can run the rapids of Halls Brook in the vicinity of Little Pond; don't leave Little Pond without first going for a hike along the Melton Falls Trail. Little Pond is located in the White Mountains. The yearly rain here at Little Pond is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Spectacle Pond Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Little Pond, and why not camp at Riverbrook RV Resort if you're here at Little Pond. A fine close by hotel is Red Carpet Motel; the vista of beautiful Mount Crosby is great. You absolutely have to like the White Mountains.
