Don't leave Little East Pond without first going for a hike along the Little East Pond Trail. Lakes? Sure, East Pond is in close proximity. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. Little East Pond is a good place of typical rain; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Little East Pond. Go for       a hike on the East Pond Loop, and camping at Little East Pond is great fun, Hancock Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Loon Mountain Riding Stables is a glorious choice, and dry warm beds await you at Nordic Inn. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Waterville Valley Golf Course, and Little East Pond is                  a good place to camp, Country Bumpkins is a good place. This lake is so wonderful. Waterville Valley has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Pemigewasset River - East Branch. Good hiking is available along the East Pond Trail, and great skiing awaits you at Loon Mountain. Through the months of summer at Little East Pond highs are commonly in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Little East Pond drop into the 0's. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the White Mountains.
