That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Line Pond has it all. Line Pond is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Baker River Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Pond Brook River. The yearly rain here at Line Pond is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.       You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the White Mountains. There are other locations here than Line Pond, for example McCutcheon Pond; there's whitewater on Baker River - South Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. Near Line Pond you stumble on the Mowglis Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and if you need a site to stay Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day at Line Pond you can take a hike along the Clark Pond Loop, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ragged Mountain. Not far from Line Pond, you'll discover Little Rocky Pond which is a scenic lake, and Whaleback is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. For the period of the days of summer at Line Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
